EWEA’s CEO Giles Dickson delivered a very enthusiastic closing speech during last week’s FOWT’16, confirming the growing interest from the industry’s key stakeholders for floating offshore wind.
Organized by the Pôle Mer Méditerranée and the CCI Marseille Provence in partnership with France Energie Eolienne, Marseille’s International Conference on Floating Offshore Wind (FOWT) gathered over 330 attendees from 15 countries and saw a variety of well-known speakers from pioneering countries such as Japan, Norway and Scotland.
Preparation of the 4th edition scheduled for March 15th & 16th 2017 is already underway with many more exclusive presentations and international participants to be expected.
